Bookworm Bonkers!

I love reading. No. That’s not true. I luuuurrrve reading! My favourite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I do like a nice soppy romance. It’s also really funny – Mr Bennet is a really sarcastic character.

When I was your age some of the books I really liked were:

  • Watership Down – It still makes me cry, even now.
  • The Narnia Chronicles – I know everyone knows The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, but trust me, The Silver Chair is the best one.
  • Calvin and Hobbes – Really funny American comic strips but really thoughtful and moving too, at times.

We have entered a book review competition. Let’s hope someone from J5 wins!
